"If you can't say nothing nice, don't say nothing at all," was something my great grandmother said. I have been here for at least 7 years. I have seen the place change owners and management several times. This is the first time I've considered leaving a review. Now, under new management, Daniel and Lisa are awesome. During the aftermath of Hurricane Baryl, they were very considerate and helpful. Daniel made sure everyone had water and even handed out donated MRE's. Also, the roads here have never been so well maintained. Overall, it's just a nice quiet place with great management and reasonable rates.

This is not the Taj mahal of RV parks. .But Daniel and the staff here do a damn good job of taking care of stuff.They've always been helpful.Like any other place you go in the winter time the grass kind of looks a little funky due to weeds that have taken over.But as soon as the weather cleared they were out here with equipment trimming up and have been spraying weed killer to get things back under control.It's a quiet place to sit back and relax and fish, we have some good neighbors around here that we like to sit and socialize with and barbecue with etc.The pool is always kept clean.I've seen the dumpster area a little messy here and there but you can't always control what other people do. But the staff has always went and took care of the issue.Unfortunately you always have that one Karen out there.And I had the displeasure of meeting her yesterday.She had the audacity to get on here and give a bad review,Because she walked in someone's personal space, who had their dog tied out so that it could get some outside time, The dog within its rights will be protective of the area.Our dog barks as if He would work you over like the undertaker.But at the end of the day he's all bark and no bite.Unfortunately the way she worded her review she made it out like the dog actually physically attacked her.And gave an unjust and unfair review on this park as well as the staff.Again I had the displeasure of meeting this person and listening to her BS story.There was not a single mark on this person,The dog did nothing more than bark at her, but yet she wants to consider it like the dog attacked her.Well Karen if you walk on to my property and one of my dog bites you, that's on you not on me.Stay out of people's personal space.And if an adult is correcting a child, don't intervene.Especially when you don't have any parental experience.If you intervene with me while I was correcting my child. I would tell you to get bent.Some people have never had their ass tore up with a wooden spoon and it shows.To the staff at Venice. keep on, keeping on.

Great place, great staff, great neighbors. If it wasn't for The baby Karen in 51 It'd be the perfect rv park, but I guess there always that 1 neighbor wherever you go!!

Some of the managers here don’t seem to work well together and can come across as rude to guests, myself included. The overall atmosphere feels tense and unwelcoming. I witnessed a child being scolded by an adult who wasn’t even their parent, and when I spoke up to support the child, a staff member reacted poorly. It was uncomfortable to watch and left a bad impression of how the place is run.June 25, 2025:I almost got attacked by a dog 2 times. One by my door in my property and the other by a lake off of the respected dog owner property. Both attacks by the same owner of the pitbull. The dog was on a long leash and the woman who owns the dog has a acquaintance that defended the dog for attacking me telling me that the dog would never attack. That leash could have broken and I could have been seriously injured if the family wasn’t there. They don’t care for safety or people who live in the park. They team up because of their status and relationships with each other. Undespicable.Laws:I want to respectfully remind everyone that in Texas, there are serious legal responsibilities when it comes to owning a dog, especially in public spaces.According to Texas Health & Safety Code § 822.041, a dog may be legally declared dangerous if it makes an unprovoked attempt to attack someone outside of its secure enclosure. This includes public areas, even if the dog is on a leash.Once a dog is legally classified as dangerous, the owner is required to:Register the dog with authorities, Keep it securely restrained at all times, Maintain liability insurance of at least $100,000, and Prevent the dog from posing further risk to the public.If a dangerous dog injures someone again—or is not kept under proper control—the owner could face civil penalties up to $10,000, criminal charges, and possible seizure or euthanization of the dog under Texas Health & Safety Code § 822.044 and § 822.005.I share this not to threaten, but to raise awareness. These are real legal consequences, and they exist to protect everyone in the community—adults, children, and animals alike. Let’s make sure we all understand and uphold these standards for safety and accountability.

Most wonderful RV park in Montgomery County! It has the friendliest of company that make you feel right at home, good 🎣 fishing, a wonderful well upkept pool, and the staff are very loving and welcoming!! If you need a weekend get away with the family it's definitely the family establishment you'd love to visit!

Let me tell you about a man named Daniel. part-time mechanic, full-time legend, and the only guy I know who can make jump-starting a truck look like a high-stakes NASCAR pit stop.My battery died like my motivation on a Monday morning, and while most people would offer thoughts and prayers, Daniel showed up with a portable jumper box and the smug confidence of someone who’s watched at least three YouTube videos on the subject.He popped that hood like he was opening the Ark of the Covenant and gave my dead truck a jolt stronger than my last cup of gas of coffee. Did he make sarcastic comments the whole time? Yes. Did he lecture me about “regular maintenance”? Absolutely. But did he get the job done? You’re damn right he did.He even stood back with arms crossed like he just reanimated Frankenstein’s monster. I half expected him to say, “It’s alive!”Would I recommend Daniel? Without a doubt. Just don’t expect him to let you forget that he saved the day. Ever.Thanks Daniel you're the man.

I have a lived at this establishment for over 2 years. I have nothing to say but how amazing this rv park is. Management is super nice and friendly! I have no bad words!!! Definitely recommend!!

We have been living in Venice On the Lake for almost two years. The management is very attentive to any concerns that we have had. They do their best to make it feel like home and make the park as attractive as possible. We love staying here and have great neighbors and friends.

I have nothing to say but amazing things for this RV park. My husband and I moved here a few months ago when we started our RV living journey and we looked at this buisness and a few others but gosh am I so thankful I we picked Venice on the lake! Everyone that lives here is so so friendly. It’s quiet. We have yet to have any problems at all! They have an onsite laundry room! Along with a pool and park for our kids! Our children LOVE playing with all the other kids in the community. We have never felt more welcomed and at home. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay with your family on vacation or for a while I highly recommend Venice Lake RV Park!
