Welcome to The Lone Star Convention & Expo Center, the third-largest convention, expo and fairgrounds complex in the greater Houston area, behind only George R. Brown Convention Center and Reliant Park. Our location is ideal for easy access: three miles from I-45 in Conroe, TX, 45 miles north of downtown Houston and 25 miles from Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The center offers several event spaces, including a 44,000 square foot exhibit hall, a 12,000 square foot ballroom, a 2,000 square foot executive boardroom, and several meeting rooms. The exhibit hall features high ceilings, ample natural light, and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, making it the perfect setting for large-scale trade shows and exhibits.

The ballroom is a stunning space with beautiful chandeliers, elegant decor, and enough space to accommodate up to 800 guests for a seated dinner or 1,200 for a reception. The executive boardroom is perfect for smaller meetings and features a large conference table, comfortable seating, and advanced technology for presentations.

This is a very fun and educational event. There are exotic reptiles there that the zoos don't even have. If you've ever wanted a reptile or if you need supplys, food, habitats or advise, the breeders and vendors there can take care of your needs.

Honestly I've been coming here for conventions for the last 3 or 4 years, and their facility is worst each year... what I mean is that it seems as though they don't do maintenance to anything, bathrooms are worst every year, they either don't fluah because they're clogged, or the soap dispensers are out or the paper towel dispensers are out... or they lock the bathrooms while there's still people at the convention...Also the worst part is the food...ugh idk who thought it would be a Good idea to accept to do a contract with the company they signed to do catering... the food is disgusting, everything is canned or processed, and they charge an arm and a leg... it's literally impossible to work with Them because it is so disgusting......I really hope that another copany builds a better convention center so that we stop using this facility because it sucks!

We are attending the monster truck wars and it has been an absolute DEBACLE so far. It has taken us over an hour to get from the intersection outside the event center into the parking lot. Someone needs to be directing traffic to prevent this mess. It’s like this is there first event ever hosted
