The Landing at Seven Coves is located on a peninsula jutting out into 19-mile long Lake Conroe. Every suite features a balcony that extends over the lake, where guests can fish or just sit over the water as the ripples and waves gently splash against the bulkhead beneath.

I LOVE this place. Our whole family does. It's quiet, restful and beautiful. The balconies hang directly over the water so it's fun to sit, watch the boats and fish. Kids fish, I read. Can rent boats in summer, too. Sometimes we do that, though it's pricey. Can split the rental time up and use throughout your stay in 2 hour blocks. The master bedroom has a spa tub. Upstairs bath huge (if you have 2 bedroom unit) Amenities are modest: Large pool shared with neighborhood, tennis courts, basketball? marina, neighborhood playground (beside the pool and marina which are next to the resort), games, activities, and bike rentals. The property is updated regularly and is beautiful. Staff have been here for a long time so it's nice to see same friendly, courteous faces and to know it must be a great place to work if they've sticking around! We own two units here and though we travel a lot, including internationally, we rarely trade because we just love The Landing.

Nice people; however, the condo left a lot to be desired. There were many repairs needed to the condo. Had we reported them all, we would have gotten nothing else done.

The furnishings and kitchen appliances seemed left over from the 1970s. Texas heat in June is unbearable during the middle of the day and their AC unit could not handle it even though they put Freon in the outside unit. The coolest the room got during the day was 72 degrees and we had the thermostat set to 60 degrees. Luckily, we brought a fan with us from home but I still had to go to Costco to buy a fan for the living area. The maintenance man said the blinds could not be closed because they were broken and needed to be replaced. Finally, housekeeping came in while I was dressing without announcing themselves or knocking. They did not apologize. Instead, they said I should have already checked out but someone had messed up our reservation. So, I had to pack up 4 people's personal effects and get out in just 30 minutes or be charged $211 for another day!

I just checked out of the Landing at Seven Coves, and I will definitely be back! I loved everything about this property. The location is great, with lots of recreational activities nearby. It is easy to find and get to. The pool and other amenities were great. I stayed in a one bedroom unit, and was completely shocked at how much space we had. It was like a home away from home, but better, because I didn't want to leave! I had my morning coffee and breakfast on the beautiful patio, right on the water, watching the ducks and listening to the lake waves. I usually don't leave reviews, but there was honestly something kind of magical about this place. The unit was very clean and well-maintained. You can tell that this property is well cared for, and that truly makes all the difference. Staff was great, other guests were friendly. Without a doubt, I will definitely always try to stay here when I am in town. If you have the chance, take it. I don't think you will be disappointed.-Signed, newest regular
