After breathing new life into this historic structure (formerly Sparkle Ice), Pacific Yard House experienced its’ Grand Opening September 1, 2017! PACIFIC YARD HOUSE HISTORY

Located across from the railroad, the building was originally part of a 50-acre tract owned by an unspecified railroad interest back in 1907. Somewhere around 1942, Albert L. Johnson bought this half-acre parcel for $300 – along with several other neighboring lots. By this time, the original building was falling down, so Johnson constructed a 7000-square foot building. This building housed a wash house and dry-cleaning operation on one side, while the other side became Jewell Ice – which was named after Johnson’s wife.

Pacific Yard House offers a diverse menu of American-style cuisine that includes classic pub fare, such as burgers, wings, and sandwiches, as well as more elevated dishes like seafood, steak, and pasta. The restaurant also boasts an extensive selection of craft beers on tap, as well as a variety of wines and cocktails.

In addition to its dining options, Pacific Yard House is also known for its live music and entertainment events. The venue features a large stage and hosts a variety of local and regional musicians, as well as comedians, DJs, and other performers. The outdoor patio area is also a popular spot for guests to enjoy drinks and socialize with friends.

Was with the band playing that night. Had a burger that was awesome. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Great place for date night, a quick bite or family dinner. Love this place and the food is OUTSTANDING!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

My fiancé and I have eaten here twice, and on both occasions, we tried different items, and they were absolutely great. This is becoming one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Conroe.

This was our first time here. We were in the area today and I googled restaurants close to me. I'm so glad we chose this one. We sat at the bar and Amber was our server. We ordered the sweet potato fries as our appetizer. And I must say, I Absolutely love me some good sweet potato fries. These were in my top 3. We also ordered a seafood chowder which was surprisingly very good! Didn't let the look deceive me. 😁 And for our main course we ordered the redfish. Mannnnn. When I tell you it was Absolutely Amazing. Served over a delicious rice pilaf, with a mango-pineapple salsa. We will definitely be returning very soon. Hopefully with family and friends to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. 💞

Was a great pet friendly restaurant. Everyone was very helpful and service was wonderful. We shared a chicken fried steak with a salad and sautéed squash. Very enjoyable.

I’ve been here a couple of times now. Service is good. Our waitress was in the weeds, but very sweet and did her best. This restaurant has regular musical guests so be prepared for it to be louder than other restaurants. This was to be expected, but you do have to yell at your party at the same table during conversations. The food is very good. I had the pork chops this last time and they were tasty. Great appetizers. Overall, this is an upbeat place that’s good for groups to enjoy an evening out. Would recommend.

I don’t know who was in charge of changing the menu-but you ruined it… How are you gonna take fried pickles off the menu? It was literally the best appetizer y’all had. And then the blackened chicken pasta y’all changed the pasta from penne pasta to linguine… Absolute fail. It completely changes the way it tastes. My daughter and I came in today and were told that fried pickles were no longer on the menu so we walked out.

Probably one of my favorite restaurants in the area, food was yummy, service was also pretty , I liked the inside decor, and loud buffalo (live music) was nice even thought I only heard a song or two

Food was great, menu is awesome. We were there for a business lunch, and even though we told the server we need a few minutes, she would completely interrupt every 2 minutes. We were there at 11 so there weren't a lot of tables, so it wasn't like we were holding the crowd up. We kept telling her we weren't ready, so we ordered a couple apps so she would give a minute. Once we got our food, that's when she ignored us, and we couldn't get a refill. 100 percent would go back, but not in her section.

I stopped by on a Saturday, late evening. The staff were kind and welcoming. I was disappointed to find out the kitchen was closed as their menu is what led me there. However, they did offer half off pizzas until close. I ordered the BBQ pizza and it was delicious. I can't remember which pizza my sister ordered, but she loved it. The cocktails were great and the live music was awesome. It was a great way to unwind. I'll have to go back during regular hours to try more of the menu.
