Steve Hari comes from France.

Philippe Legrand

Philippe Legrand comes from a family of wine merchants located in the middle of France. As a young man, Philippe spent his summers helping delivery of wine, beer and water in Aubusson, leaving in the morning with the delivery truck, and coming back when the truck was full of empties. Philippe opened H-Wines with his friend Steve in 2017, enjoys sharing a glass of wine, having our friends discover and enjoy our products and a good laugh.

I was helping my son with a history project and when the owner saw us taking pictures of the historic markers he came out and asked if we would like a tour and to know more of the history. The owner and staff made us all feel welcome and like we were family even knowing we were not customers he took time out of his day to help my kids. Im not much of a wine man, but that food smelt amazing and any man/business owner willing to take time out to help kids out definitely earned my respect and my business. This place is exceptional! The owner Steve is so personable and an all around great gentleman. He made us feel like family. Shared awesome stories about the history of the bank and talked about life back in France. Also knows so much about wine. He’s been in the wine business since he was a kid. H Wines is a great place to sample both local and international wines. The staff was friendly and helpful. They customized a wine tasting for us to only include Chardonnays. The building is around 100 years old with some original interior such as the bank vault and other items. Prices can vary depending on your taste and budget.
