We interviewed multiple pool contractors when we decided to build our first pool. Dominion Pool Group simply blew us away with their presentation. Dan and Debbie really took the time to design a pool that would fit our needs and backyard space. The entire construction process was easy, and Dan and Debbie really worked hard to stay within our budget. We’ve had our pool for 7 years and have not had any issues. Our pool maintenance company has even commented on how easy it is to maintain our pool because it was so well built. If I ever have a question about the pool, Dan is always available through email or a phone call. We recently needed to purchase some new paint for our pool decking. After having trouble finding the original paint used, I reached out to Dan. He took the time to not only find the paint, but also have it delivered to my house. I doubt we would have gotten that service from other pool contractors. We don’t plan on building a new pool anytime soon, but if we do, Dominion Pool Group with be the only company we use for the project. - 6/14/2025

I read all the reviews and any rating below 5 stars is an insult IMO. Dan and Debbie are kind, courteous, attentive and prompt and have been in the pool building business for over 30 years. There is no team out there with more experience. This starts from quick responses, design insight, knowledge to build in and around the lake with different soil conditions and having a 4000 sq ft showroom and design center. I have never met a more professional duo! In addition they have a full time superintendent to oversee the project. They were patient with my half a dozen different redesign ideas that totally ok to start the pool design over having to rework the concepts. They understood what I was looking for in a pool and were able to put my ideas into a 3D design model to visualize exactly what I would be getting. When it came time for the final proposal and pricing, the proposal was very detailed oriented with pages of line by line items of exactly what I would be getting. If you are looking for a pool building company who has owners that do it for the love of helping customers make there backyard dreams a reality at a VERY reasonable and fair price, then do not hesitate to use Dominion Pools! - 12/23/2024

Dominion Pools built my pool 2 years ago. It is the best investment I have ever made! It is so stunning. I never want to go on vacation anymore. My pool is like a tropical paradise. Debbie is an amazing designer. She spent lots.of time with me and was very patient . I love my beautiful wall fountain and the gorgeous elevated fire pit. We worked with Dan Pendley, President of the Dominion Pool Group, for several months to design a large pool for our small backyard golf course lot. Dan listened to our concerns and goals for the pool and was very creative to provide multiple options for us to consider, including expanding our space into a utility easement by helping to obtain releases for encroachment from the various utilities. Dan spent time educating us about the pros and cons of the various pool material and equipment options so that we were able to make informed decisions on what worked best for our needs. The Dominion offices provided physical samples of all the options for tile and decking materials and the various pool equipment, so that we knew exactly what we could use. Dan also outlined the construction process in detail to help us understand what to expect during construction. At the conclusion of the design process, we were very comfortable that the choices we made fit our needs precisely and would be an asset to our home in the future. - 3/13/2024

My wife and I recently moved into our new home. We decided we wanted to build a pool. However, not knowing anyone in the area, Dominion Pool Group was recommended to us! Jody came out and truly listened to our dream and he created it! Debbie the owner has been great to work with so far! Matthew is our superintendent and his attention to detail is incredible. Matthew has a great personality and very enjoyable to work with so far. Dominion started 3 days ago and in three days got our project to gunite. Pool companies around here has not had a great reputation but I will tell you Dominion Pool Group is way above any other pool company in my personal opinion!! If you are ever in the market for a pool call dominion! I’ll be back to post a final review once everything has been completed! - 2/13/2024

I'm carefully selecting and sorting through a kaleidoscope of ideas from five top-tier design gurus, each from a highly regarded company, yet despite their pedigree, none are quite sewing up my dream vision. Then, in comes Marc McDonald. I'd been digging through reviews for his company, and Marc’s name was like a golden thread – glowing reviews everywhere. But, plot twist, he was the man of the hour, booked and busy. So, what did I do? Decided to play the waiting game. Four months of patience, and trust me, it paid off big time. Marc didn't just step in; he rocked up with a toolbox full of creativity and expertise. We weren't just starting a project; we were crafting a year-long pool-building odyssey. And believe me, when Marc's at the helm, you're in for a ride of innovation and sheer pool perfection. From our very first meeting, it was clear that Marc was in a league of his own. Debbie and crew at Dominion pool were fantastic in every way! Originally, when we were looking for a pool contractor we worried as there are many reviews online about pool contractors being notoriously non-responsive and not delivering on time, but we had the exact opposite experience with Dominion. From the start, Debbie helped us design a modern contemporary pool that fit our home perfect. The construction quality was excellent - and it turned out exact to the drawings. Today was the day that we started a new chapter of memories, thanks to Debbie and the Team at Dominion Pools! We want to sincerely thank Dominion for making our pool build easy, special and completely painless. At first, we were not sure what we wanted in a pool, so Debbie took our ideas, tweaked a few things here and there and literally created the perfect pool for our family. EVERYONE got what they asked for in a custom pool at a price we could afford! Mathew, our project manager, surpassed ALL our expectations as well. Mathew showed up to the job site to inspect the progress multiple times, every single day. This is unheard of in the pool construction business. He also answered our questions anytime we called as well. One of the things that impressed us the most was the sense of “family”. Dominion pools is a family business and they showed it ever step of the way. We were especially touched when Mathew came one day, knocked on our door and said “Come on, time to make some prints!” He took us outside so that we could let our little boy put his handprints in the concrete. That was a very special thing he did. He didn’t forget the “little things” that made this a family pool. This was only one of several examples of Mathew’s kindness. Our family now considers him, Debbie and the rest of the team, friends that are a permanent part of our family. We love our pool and more importantly, we love our new friends, at Dominion pools!! - 6/13/2021
