I picked the Conroe Lake House for lunch on Sunday to celebrate a family birthday (6 of us). The location looks very nice and a fun atmosphere so we were to be seated outside despite the heat because we were told they had fans, etc. Unfortunately, the fan nearest to us was not working, and there was very little breeze. The biggest problem was the amount of time it took - We were seated at 12:30 and did not leave for almost 3 hours. The next problem was our waitress - I suspect she had too many tables, but she just was not attentive or friendly - she wasn’t rude, just overwhelmed. We were constantly having to try to flag her down because she wasn’t checking with us. With the heat, compounded with a long wait, we really needed drink refreshes a lot more often - and a lot more ice to keep things cool. The food was good, so no complaints there, it just took a REALLY long time. I’m not sure I will go there again - but maybe.

Chicken street tacos were so dry...chips stale... salsa was ok... staff was cool, atmosphere cool, the lake is great... got to say first time there and we will be back cause it's in the neighborhood but they need to recreate better tacos.... wife had a chicken salad... the chicken was burnt .... now that chicken tasted better than the street taco dry chicken... netherless the meal was not great.... it's bar food maybe if drunk the taste get enhanced... who knows....

Sat outdoors had appetizers and a couple of drinks. It was nice outside by the water. The server was very helpful and polite. I personally can do without the dogs 1st time going but we will return

Went with grown children and young grandchildren on eve in July. Not a bad wait but all downhill from there. Very poor service, yuck/cold food after 1.5 hour wait. Had to ask to get silverware for everyone. Asked for glass of ice water and was told ice only avail at bar. Than the water tasted like it came from toilet. Music was actually good band but so incredibly loud / very stressful/unenjoyable. This was strike 2 with new mgmt at this place - prob won’t go back…

Went to conroe lake house tonight with my 9 year old for the 4th, he loved running with all the other kids through the play area & especially enjoyed the water and the fireworks, & the band was awesome, but our waitress Abby deserves all the praise for tonight. They were packed and she was so sweet & gave the best service. The drinks & food came surprisingly fast & the crawfish was delicious. All in all 100% 4th of July success !!

I was here in the early winter with two girlfriends to watch the live music. We had a great time, but I wasn’t impressed with the food. I wanted to give it another try so this time (4th of July week) I came with my spouse & his buddy visiting from Boerne, Tx. The atmosphere is nice & relaxing with expansive view of the lake, the 🛥️ and 🦆 over the fence being fed by children. Our server was attentive and conversant. The burger & tacos were okay, again nothing spectacular. Now, the ugly truth! Flies, flies, flies. We were constantly waving our hands and I’ve covered my drink & food with lots of napkin. I asked the server for a small fan if they, no but they have fly swatter she said. I removed the plates on the countertop (bar area) soon as we’re finished eating and the flies went away. The server saw me so she eventually took the dishes away. Come here for the view and live music and sit away from the fence.

Excelente lugar me encantó la comida aunque tarde un plato en llegar la manager se acercó y nos dios el plato gratis sin pedirlo y fue muy amable todas las personas de meseras atentas y el lugar es muy agradable
