Memorable Lake Conroe Golf

Set along the shores of the beautiful Lake Conroe and winding its way through the community, the golf course at April Sound Country Club provides Members with a challenging, visually attractive and enjoyable golf experience, offering 27 championship holes of golf, world-class practice facilities including an aquatic driving range, plus an active schedule of leagues, tournaments and lessons.

The Course

27 holes of championship golf comprise the golf experience at April Sound, including our two beautiful 9-hole courses, the White Nine and the Blue Nine, as well as the 9-hole executive course where we host weekly Member tournaments.

Lessons
April Sound Country Club is proud to offer its own Golf Academy managed by an outstanding Class A PGA Professional. The Golf Academy caters to each individual student with instructors available for private instruction, group outings, clinics, video analysis, and on-course instruction.

Crush It! Junior Golf
The ‘Crush It’ junior program is a game-changing golf development program designed to help your child to develop a deep love for the game. The program will provide your child with the tools to engage proactively in life at your club and learn valuable lessons they can use in all areas of their lives. At the core of the ‘Crush It’ program is our mission to develop golfers for life. The ‘Crush It’ junior program embodies skills for golf and skills for life.

Game On! Program
The program provides the ideal way for golfers to experience learning the game in an environment and structure that will enable them to build the skills, knowledge, and social connections to actively play the game and maximize your April Sound Country Club membership

Clinics
Saturday clinics are offered covering topics like putting, chipping, pitching, pre-swing, mid-irons, driver and woods, and full-swing principles.

Complimentary clinics on the 1^st and 3^rd Saturday of each month at 10 AM. Open to all membership levels. (weather permitting)

Fittings
Our staff is experienced in club fitting and repairs. We can handle special orders quickly. We also host fitting days from golf’s top brands including Callaway, Taylormade, Titleist, and more! Check with the pro shop for upcoming scheduled dates.

Locker Rental
Secure your valuables in men’s and ladies’ lockers. Half lockers available upon request

Keep an accurate account of your golf handicap through our online system.

Leagues & Tournaments

Leagues
For information on any of these groups or to find out how to join one or more of these fun associations, please stop in or call the pro shop.

Couples’ Golf
During daylight savings season, couples meet at 4:30 on Wednesdays for a social 9-hole round. It’s a great way to meet fellow golfers.

Women’s Program
There are two women’s groups that meet on a regular basis at April Sound Country Club: the Niners (ASNGA) and the April Sound Women’s Golf Association (ASWGA). The Niners are a 9-hole ladies’ group, that hit the course every Thursday morning. ASWGA plays Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 9 am. ASWGA plays Thursday mornings with at least one monthly tournament.

Men’s Program
The April Sound Country Club Men’s Golf Association (MGA) is extremely active with a tournament every second Saturday of the month, with rotating formats. In addition to the monthly tournaments, April Sound Country Club has numerous other events that should not be missed.

70+ Group
Play a tournament on the first Tuesday of each month.

This is a great club. Everyone is super friendly and the members are very welcoming to new people. This is a fun place to be on the weekends.

We had the pleasure of serving April Sound Country Club for their incredible New Year’s Eve Celebration with a Great Gatsby-themed green screen experience, and it was truly a fantastic event! The venue itself is stunning, with ample parking that made setup a breeze. The internet was flawless, ensuring a smooth experience for all the guests, and the staff was nothing short of amazing—polite, professional, and incredibly accommodating. It was an honor to be part of such a well-organized and memorable event. April Sound Country Club truly knows how to host a celebration, and we look forward to collaborating with them again in the future! Highly recommend this venue for any special occasion! 🎉✨

Playing at April Sound Country Club after all these years was an absolute delight! The greens were immaculate, a testament to the meticulous care and effort put into maintaining them. Every putt was pure and felt like a green is supposed to feel. And to top it off, we enjoyed a delicious meal right after our round. Truly, it was a flawless experience from start to finish!
