I had a great experience at the 1097 waters ports yesterday with a group of friends. The booking was very smooth and the check in was as easy as it could have been with very attentive staff who were keen on checking that everyone boarding the boat had been registered. The captain was awesome as well. I definately will recommend this place to many people and I look forward to coming back soon with my family. - 7/06/2025

We hired the party barge for a church group and had great fun all afternoon on Lake Conroe with captain Trevor Hill. The entertainment was fantastic and the children had time to swim at Ayers Island. All the staff were helpful and courteous and wouldn't hesitate to recommend 1097 Watersports. - 7/06/2025

We did the Pirate Ship for July Fourth and fireworks. The pirates/staff on the ship were great. The staff that answer the phones though are useless. It took us 4 days to book, because we were told to keep calling back. Then we had some follow up questions to which the girls answering phones had no idea. We called to verify show up time, which was told 6pm then the confirmation emails says 630pm but boarding time when we got there wasn’t till 730pm. Overall not a horrible experience once on the ship, but don’t expect much from the front office. - 7/05/2025

Stay away from this place! There are better places to rent. They ask you to reserve the rentals online and someone will show up in 30 minutes. They never show up and it's a challenge to get refund back. I made the reservation in May and at the time of writing this review, i am still waiting for my refund :( - 7/03/2025

We have rented a pontoon with a captain several times and have had nothing but positive experiences, up until yesterday. Our captain was wonderful despite the pontoon we were on was not operating appropriately causing it to lean very far to one side and preventing us from tubing. As we were heading to to complete our time, it was leaning so far and when we slowed down the entire front end of the boat went underwater causing everyone sitting in the front to be submerged in water to about waist high momentarily. It was hard to enjoy the experience as even someone who knows nothing about boats, could tell something was wrong. Our captain was incredible and got us back safely, however it was legitimately scary especially since we had a 10 month old baby on board with us. - 6/29/2025

Went jet skiing and had alot of fun! If you want to rent a jetski, you have to have a boarding license which I wasn't aware of but the people at the front gave me an online link that was $10- it was fast and we were able to rent the jet skis 25 mins later. They gave us the run down on how to use it then we had the freedom to roam the lake. It was so fun to feel the wind through my hair and seeing other people boating around me. 10/10 will come back! - 6/26/2025

What a great experience! Such a fun way to enjoy the lake and outdoors. My boyfriend and I went on a Monday which was the perfect day to go because it wasn’t too busy. Trevor helped get us set up; he was so kind and made sure all safety precautions were taken. We didn’t have a waterproof phone case and he was kind enough to let us borrow one! - 6/16/2025

The Pirate Adventure was very disappointing. At least 45 minutes of the less than 90 total, there was no interaction with the 3 crew members and the children. The kids were walking around on their own throughout and not in active involvement on an activity. Apparently, from what was told us, they were in training and talked quite a bit about it. For the price and level of a pirate ship experience, I cannot recommend this activity. - 6/08/2025

A group of us ladies went to do the adult only- sunset pirate cruise tonight. It was a lot of fun! Worth the $54 dollars! I highly recommend it! There is something so wonderful about being on the water. The staff are amazing! - 6/08/2025
