GREAT. Water stained; 56 degrees; 0.37 feet above pool. After the hard freeze to flooding, back to level and now back up and muddy. Water temperatures dipped into the 40s just to rip back into the low 60s so fishing has been interesting. Catfish have been good to great. Fishing runoff and creeks and even had some reports of a pretty good bulkhead bite. Folks have been catching eater sized fish from 1-35 feet deep on Catfish Bubblegum, liver, worms, shad, and punch bait. Trophy class fish have been pretty good drifting natural baits like gizzard shad and bream. Had some good hybrid reports as well chasing shad shallower than usual in the water column due to the muddy water. Largemouth seem to be scattered about from deep to shallow on structure and ledges. Report by Brad Doyle, Bradley’s Guide Service. Crappie are in 10-21 feet of water scattered, but close to structures. This flooding and water color many spots they were at have moved, some are catching them in some shallows, staging close to creeks. Always wear your life jacket. Report by Mike Cason, Fishical Therapy Lake Conroe Guide.
