Bass fishing has been fair overall with bass being caught early around docks and lay downs in 6-9 feet of water on Texas Rigged worms and medium running crankbaits. They are also being caught early around riprap with crankbaits and trick worms. Hybrids are on the move in 17-27 feet of water. Finding some small schools, but most of the fish are scattered on points and flats. Trolling with a pet spoon and a diver, has had some success, thumping and splashing with jigs has worked to bring them in, using MTPockets slabs jigging for them has produced results. Crappie continue to be slow, having to hit several spots to get the hotties and the thumps are lighter. Use a longer rod with Lone Star Crappie Jigs and Stunna jigs, smaller jigs and pitching has had some success..
