GREAT. Water stained; 62 degrees; 0.69 feet below pool. Eater size catfish are great from shallow to deep fishing with Catfish Bubblegum, liver, shad, and punch bait. Drifting for trophy class blue catfish has been good on bream and shad. Hybrids have been good on shad flats and live shad. Pretty much find the bait and find the fish. Report by Brad Doyle, Bradley’s Guide Service. Bass fishing remains productive in the post-frontal period, with active bass found in 3-8 feet water in the back of creeks and grass beds. Swimbaits and spinnerbaits are effective around brush piles and creek channels in coves while Texas rigged worms work well along docks. Rattletraps and Senkos produce results by riprap and rock piles. Deeper structure in 17-22 feet of water yields larger fish through vertical jigging and Carolina rigs. Report by Bryan Brawner, Lake Conroe Charters. The crappie bite has picked up this week using hair jigs from Lone Star Crappie Jigs and Stunna jigs, low profile plastics and minnows. Fish in 12-22 feet of water on or close to the structure. Always wear your life jacket. Report by Mike Cason, Fishical Therapy Lake Conroe Guide.
