Thomas Jefferson Stubbs 2523 Conroe Chapter member Jessica Rizk and her family (Fadi, Camille & Noah Rizk) visited the Pea Ridge National Military Park, located in Benton County, Arkansas back in April of 2025.
The Pea Ridge Park protects the site of the Battle of Pea Ridge, which was fought March 7 & 8, 1862. The battle was a victory for the North and helped them gain control of the border state of Missouri. The 4,300 acre Park was created by Congress on July 20, 1956 to preserve the battlefield. The Park was dedicated as a National Park during the American Civil War Centennial in 1963. The children Camille & Noah, became Junior Park Rangers, as they completed the workbook, while touring the park.
Jessica Rizk serves as the Stubbs Chapter chairman of Patriotic Activities and heads up the Wreaths Across America event for the chapter. This event will take place on December 13, 2025 at Oak Wood Cemetery in Conroe, the time will be announced later.
