Target is set to open a new store in October at Valley Ranch in New Caney.
In 2021, the 1,400-acre master-planned community announced that the Minneapolis-based retailer would be the newest tenant at the Valley Ranch Town Center.
On Sept. 22, the community’s Facebook page announced the Target is slated to open on Oct. 22 at the intersection of Interstate 69 and the Grand Parkway.

Danny Signorelli, president and CEO of the Signorelli Co., called the addition of the 136,000 square-foot store exciting in a release. Signorelli is developing the community.
“Excitement is building at Valley Ranch as we celebrate adding Target to the Town Center,” Signorelli said. “The Signorelli Company purpose to create better places to enrich lives and lifestyles will be fulfilled with this addition; Target will not only offer area residents and shoppers more retail options in the neighborhood, but they will also be responsible for creating local jobs.”
During an Aug. 22 event, Signorelli told community leaders that he wants to bring more businesses and housing to other districts in the community, including multi-family homes, retail and restaurants.
Many comments shared on Facebook in the post about the grand opening expressed excitement about the area’s latest retail offering.

“Can’t wait,” one Facebook user wrote.
Hours have not yet been posted on the store’s website.
