It was hard for Waterford Estates residents Marie and Dave Underdown to find room at First Methodist Church-Conroe last Saturday when hundreds of other folks in the Montgomery County area packed the sanctuary to enjoy the Conroe Symphony Orchestra’s latest concert entitled “Rodeo Roundup” but are we glad that we did! Â As usual, the concert was wonderful!
Conducted by Gary Liebst, this concert also featured Audrey Welsh, a Mezzo Soprano with a dynamic voice!
The very talented musicians treated us to such cowboy favorites as “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” and “The Magnificent Seven”. Â And of course, no concert in our great state would be complete without “Texas, Our Texas” which also featured Ms. Welsh. Â
And Master of Ceremonies Bill Thompson, did his part as he donned his ten-gallon hat and cowboy boots! Â Once again, it just proves that you don’t have to go all the way to Houston to enjoy an outstanding performance. Â Thanks to everyone who played a part in this awesome event. Â Happy Trails to you too!
