Here’s a little quiz. Check yes or no.

If your answer is “yes” to even just one of the above, then boy,  have I got a deal for you!  And from judging what I see when I look up and down the streets of Waterford Estates, lots of my neighbors would like in on this deal too.
Now here’s the deal: SPCA PETS SNAP of Montgomery County will be holding its first ever PAWZ ON PATROL 5K which will take place on Saturday, March 9th at Alden Bridge Park,  7725 Alden Bridge Drive. The Woodlands,  77382. Check-in is at 9:00 am. The race begins at 10:00 am.  Entry fee : $45.00.   Proceeds will benefit this 501c3, all volunteer, pet rescue organization with a no-kill policy for adoptable pets.  And this race has something for everyone!  Participants can run or walk, take a fur baby on a leash or even put a fur baby (or a human baby)  in a carriage, stroller or even a wagon for a casual morning romp around the park. 
For serious runners, this race will be timed and scored by Campbell Timing Systems who will post the results at www.campbelltimingsystems.com. The track is paved and is in beautiful Alden Bridge Park.  All participants will receive a Race T-shirt and a Finisher Medal!  Awards will be given out to the top 3 finishers in each age category.  Hydration and light snacks will be provided at about the halfway point and at the finish line.  
This is a dog friendly, and child-friendly event and we encourage you to come on down and bring the whole family with you!  (Of course, for everyone’s safety,  your dog must be well mannered, vaccinated and on a non-retractable leash. And please,be sure to clean up after your pet.)
Registration for your dog is optional but any registered dog will receive a bandana, a Finisher Medal and be chip timed just like you!  Awards will also be given to the top 3 finishers in the registered dog category.
