Neighbors all around the lake got together last month to celebrate the holidays and the  WOWs (Women of Waterford) were no exception.  Mom and daughter, Carol Luft and Holly Woods invited all of us gals who live in this great subdivision to a White Elephant Gift Exchange Christmas Party.  What a wonderful evening!  Everyone brought a delicious dish which we all greatly enjoyed.  Some of the best cooks in Montgomery County live in Waterford Estates!

Carol and Holly’s home was so beautifully decorated, and we oohed and ahhed over the various Santa Clauses and Christmas Trees.  Amongst the decorations, Carol and Holly had hidden some special snowflakes. They announced that whoever found the most of these snowflakes would win a prize!  What fun!  Kudos go to eagle-eyed Cynthia Wilson for finding the most!  Way to go!

But the hostesses with the mostesses had other surprises in store for us.  For example, there were two jars on display, one was filled with candy kisses and the other with peppermints.  The game was to guess how many kisses and peppermints were in the jars.  Congratulations to Corrine Dunn and Nichole Shanklin for being the best guessers in the room!

But wait, there’s more!  After the guessing and the munching was over, we all enjoyed an exciting White Elephant Gift Exchange.  It was a ball!  But then it is always fun when us WOWs get together!  Thanks Carol  and Holly for a wonderful evening!
