Christmas is in the air (or should I say in the oven!) at Waterford Estates when lots of WOWs (Women of Waterford) journeyed down the street to Erika Pepas gorgeous home to make tasty as well as beautiful homemade Christmas cookies. Â
How did this fun Christmas tradition get started? Â Well let me begin at the beginning. Â Sweet neighbor Bonnie Sohn opens her pool to any WOW who would like to do a little water aerobics or just take a relaxing dip. Â Five neighborhood gals have been regularly going, enjoying the comradery as well as the exercise. Â Since Bonnie heats up her pool, these 5 water dippers can swim all winter.
As these gals were enjoying the water as well as each other’s company, they realized that they also enjoy baking. And that was the birth of the first Annual WOW Cookie Decorating Party! Â It has now grown to include lots of culinary art gals. Everyone brings a snack and drinks and be ready to exercise their creative jucies! Enjoying the delicious event this year were Bonnie Sohn, Sharon Kamp, Corinne Dunn, Cynthia Wilson, Debbie Gervais and her Mom Debbie, Kim Tyson, Carole Bradley, Carol Luft, Leslie Brady, Dundee Kuhasz, Kathy F. and of course, Erika Pepas. Â
According to Erika “The Christmas spirit was contagious! Â We have the best neighborhood!” Amen to that!Â
