Sharon Richardson hosted the M&Ms on Monday evening. Don’t ask me how we came up with our group name but we have been meeting for several years now having dinner at our various homes. She out did herself with a delicious meal and her table decorations were beautiful. Debbie Kerr, Zona Taylor, Jean Smith, Fran Copland and I had a grand time. We missed Susan Holt who was out of town helping her sister after her surgery. I must say, this little old lady almost missed it! I had totally forgotten and I was already in my jammies when Sharon called to see what I was doing. No problem – come as you are she said. So I joined them a bit late in my very special night time tee shirt and sweat pants. She had even made my favorite sugar free chocolate pie for dessert. I am so blessed to have such good and understanding friends. Â
I would like to thank Carol Maak for sharing a write up about the very fun group “On The Rocks”. It seems 14 Walden women had a Road Rally/scavenger hunt in and around the Walden and Montgomery area. They had an hour and 45 minutes to get as many pictures of the 61 very specific items on the list given to them by their hostesses Diana White and Lorraine Counts. There were 3 drivers of the teams of 4. They then hung out as a group, had dinner, drank a little wine, took pics and shared their funny stories of their adventures! So much fun and definite team work! Another little birdie told me that the winners were Susan Johnson, Paulie Geiselhart, and Rita Hinds.Â
