I headed out of town last week to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday. My sister and my good friend Bobbie have made a tradition of going to a casino in Louisiana in his honor. I would like to point out that even with free rooms this tradition can be a costly celebration for all involved. Should you be one of those folks who like to play in and around Lake Charles you might enjoy dining at Steam Boat Bills on I-10, and for a special evening of dining I would like to recommend Embers at L’Auberge. We, once again, had a marvelous time.
The WLGA hosted the Bradley Cup this past weekend. This is a two day net stroke play tournament. It is also a Walden Cup qualifier event. I would like to congratulate the winner of the event, Suzanne Walsh, way to go Suzanne!Â
