Love will be in the air come Wednesday. There is a special Valentine’s Day Dinner set for that evening. There will be seating at 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM. The cost is $100.00 per couple and reservations are encouraged. The menu includes your choice of the soup or salad, one of three entrees and one of two dessert choices. If you happen to miss the dinner there will be a special Sweethearts Buffet on Sunday. Come to one or treat your loved one to both.
Just a reminder folks that the Section 5 & Section 10 Annual Meetings will be held at the Yacht Club on February 17th at 10:00 AM.Â
Gaby Tryon sent a note describing a wonderful afternoon of music as a Valentine treat for yourself and significant others. The Conroe Symphony Orchestra will perform Rodeo Roundup at 2:30 pm, Saturday, February 17 at the Conroe First Methodist Church. All information about the event is available online at Conroesymphony.org. Tickets can also be purchased online or at the door. Wear your western attire and come enjoy the fun.Â
Janie Smith sent some info from the Friends of the Charles B. Stewart West Branch Library. The library is located at 202 Bessie Price Owen Drive in Montgomery. There is a Spring Silent Auction Fundraiser set for February 28 and ending at 5:00 PM on March 18th. There will be gift baskets, jewelry, golf, dining, handmade quilts, framed artwork, carved bowls and more to bid on. She also wants everyone to know that they are already collecting used books of all kinds. They especially need current books and children’s books. The books are for the annual book sale that is scheduled for May 3-4.
It’s just a few short weeks until the 2024 Follies Unleashed performances begin. The website is open for ticket sales and there are still tickets for the Thursday and Friday night performances.
