You should have already received your voting registration postcard for online voting for the two open Board Member positions. Online voting starts on Monday, October 30 at 9:00 AM and continues until Saturday, November 5th at 5:00 PM. It is a very easy and efficient way to cast your vote but if you need any assistance in voting, just stop into the Administration office during business hours and they will assist you in submitting your vote.
The golf course was closed last week as Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club hosted a Korn Ferry Q-School tournament. I think it is very cool that one of our neighbors, Terry & Vicki Sucher had a family member, Zach Sucher, competing in this tournament. To all the players, I will just say what me hubby use to say to me as I left to play golf, “Run your fastest and jump your highest”. Good luck.
Congratulations to this month’s Aces – Suzanne Walsh won Ace for the WLGA, Linda Bliese won Gross and Connie Gilmore won Net for the WLGA-9. Rebecca Davis and her co-host Lisa Kintigh hosted the Niner monthly luncheon. The weather was so beautiful most of us stayed to enjoy it, well into the afternoon, on her lakeside patio.

The Ladies Association of Walden will be hosting the very popular Gift Expo on November 3rd, downstairs at the Yacht Club. The Doors open at 9:00 AM and close at 3:00 PM. There will be two chances to win a $50.00 Visa gift card. Come and view the wide variety of wonderful products on display by some 40 vendors. It is a great time to knock out some if not all of your Christmas gift list!
The Men’s breakfast is on Friday and our General Manager, Rusty Denner will introduce the new Food & Beverage Manager, Jesse Cole, to all in attendance. Come enjoy the popular breakfast buffet and have the pleasure of a meet & greet moment to get to know Jesse.
