Congratulations to Panorama resident, Bob Griffin, who won the Panorama Golf Club Gumbo Cookoff March 16. The cookoff took place at the Pavilion on Saturday.  The contestants carefully followed the rules sheet provided.  Tasting tickets were purchased by the public that gave them the ability to taste each contestant’s gumbo. Thanks to the other contestants for their cooking abilities in the First Annual Panorama Golf Club Gumbo Cookoff!

If you like to cook and show off your skills, prepare for the Grill and Chill Block Party on April 21. You need to bring your grill and cook for our neighbors. Bring your favorite appetizer and dessert to share with everyone. Panorama Golf Club will have drinks for sale as there will be no outside alcohol allowed. The Elev8tors will be playing live music in front of the clubhouse starting at 4 PM. Flyers will be posted on the city and golf club websites or you can pick one up at City Hall. Please contact Jenny at jenny@panoramagctx.com for more information. Come enjoy the fun.

Mayor Lynn Scott congratulated the large crowd at City Council meeting Thursday at 6 PM. He was very pleased to see a large crowd even though there was heavy rain that turned into a thunderstorm.  Remember that the Panorama Village City Council meetings have been moved to the third Thursday of each month. The meetings will continue to start at 6 PM at City Hall. Attendance is the best way to know what’s going on in the community.
