Do you have your subscription for the Panorama Lions Club Flags with Pride? This is another way you can help the Lions Club. This group installs flags in your yard on six national holidays. The first one of the year was President’s Day, February 19, 2024. To ensure your flag service for the next holiday, contact Emily Summers at www.panoramalions.com. You may pay with check or online payment. Please send your subscription request as soon as possible to ensure your flag service for the next holiday. Other holidays in the program are Mother’s Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Veteran’s Day. If you subscribe, you will be supporting the worthy projects of the Panorama Lions Club, as well as help our community show its patriotism. “Laissez Les Bon Temp Rouler” Let the good times roll! And that’s just what the Liberty Belles Republican Women did at the Clubhouse along with their guests. The Mardi Gras Party and Fundraiser began with a Mix and Mingle, followed by a Welcome by Mary Lu Divilbiss, Chairman of the Event, Prayer led by Montgomery County Republican Party Chairman Bryan Christ and Pledges led by Judge Vince Santini and Judge Echo Hudson. A delicious prime rib dinner with bread pudding with bourbon sauce dessert was the Bon Appétit. Included during the event were Dance and Costume Contests and a large Silent Auction. The Liberty Belles thank everyone who attended and the many Sponsors of the event. It was loads of fun fun and profits will provide scholarships, books for school libraries, activities for Veterans, community involvement and other projects. Many, many Thanks go to Clubhouse Staff for their addition to the event.
