After several days of constant below freezing weather, people have found leaks from damaged water pipes as temperatures rise. If you need to turn off the water to your home the Panorama Utility Department would like for you to call City Hall and have the water turned on and off by them.  Some of the meters are difficult to work with so this could limit damage.

If you must replace any pipes, there are new products you may want to investigate that help with insulation.  Hopefully the temperature will not be that cold for that long of time again anytime soon. Many residents are not looking forward to their next water or electric bill as they dripped water and also used more heat than normal. People are however looking for information concerning care of plants after a hard freeze. It will also be interesting to see how covering the greens with special tarps worked.
