If you are interested in live theater entertainment, both the Owen Theatre and the Crighton Theatre in downtown Conroe have holiday shows playing at this time.
“Holiday Inn” with music by Irvin Berlin, is playing at the Owen, while “Christmas Belles“ will be playing through December 17, at the Crighton Theater. It is truly amazing how much talent is shown in these two shows. Tickets for both shows can be purchased online.
The Conroe Symphony will hold its holiday production Saturday, December 16, at 2:30 pm at the First Methodist Church at 4308 W. Davis. If you do not already have season tickets, you may purchase tickets at the door. There is a nice description of the event online. The Panorama Garden Club will meet Monday, December 11, at Honor Cafe 103 N Thompson in downtown Conroe for their Christmas meeting and party. If attending, you should bring a gift exchange item.
The Garden Club will be doing the Christmas decoration judging of Panorama homes on December 18. Be sure and have your decorations ready with the lights on that evening at dusk. Please remember to bring your toy for the Toys for Tots box located at City Hall, the Clubhouse, and the Police Station. The toys should be new and unwrapped. Both the members of the Panorama, Ladies Association and the Nine Hole Golf group have contributed to Toys for Tots.
There are still some tickets left for New Year’s Eve so if you are interested, go to the Clubhouse or call and make your reservation.
