Social Lites – Panorama Village

The Willis High School Choir along with the Brabham Middle School Choir held a concert to honor Veterans at the Willis ISD Performing Arts Center on the night of Veterans Day.  The High School group also sang at the American Legion Post in Willis recently at Senior Bingo. Their singing was much appreciated and those attending were so pleased to hear the future leaders with such beautiful voices!  

The annual Toys for Tots campaign has begun!  Bring your new,unwrapped toys through mid December and place them in boxes provided at City Hall and the Clubhouse. Panorama has always supported Toys for Tots each year, so let’s not forget this project.

Tracy Newman had a Hole in One on #2 using an 8 iron on Friday, November 3, 2023!!  Congratulations to Tracy!!

The Niners will begin their Ringer Tournament this Tuesday and it runs two Tuesdays. If you can only play one of the Tuesdays that can be your score for the tournament while two day players will have a chance to improve their score. The group thanks Janice Messina for subbing for the Tournament Chairman and reports she does a great job. The Panorama Women’s Golf Association (PWGA) donated sponsorship funds from their Party in Paradise (PIP) Tournament held October 11, at Panorama Golf Club to The Montgomery County Woman’s Center at 1401 Airport Rd. in Conroe, TX.

Ruby Hefner – President, Denise Peel – Treasurer, and Janet Mehalick – Secretary, presented a check for $2,753 to Siomara Rodriguez – Director of Volunteers & Client Services (www.mcwctx.org).  The funds will be used to provide Santa gifts for many Montgomery County children.

It appears some bushes and trees in Panorama are going to survive after all. New growth is appearing on plants where many residents thought they had been lost. Those people were very happy they had waited before removing those dead looking shrubs and trees. Sadly many trees have been removed from Panorama property.
