Lots of cute, beautiful, funny, and scary costumes making the Trick or Treat rounds Halloween night. They walked, rode in golf carts, cars, wagons, baby carriages, in their parent’s arms and even in flat bed trucks! They were polite with their “Thank You’s” and “Happy Halloweens”! And best of all they were having a great time!!
The PWGA held their Club Championship October 21 and 22. With it being held on the weekend there was a 25% increase in participation over last year. Congratulations to Karen Morgan, the new PWGA Club Champion!! The New Club Net Champion is Pam O’Hare after a two hole Sudden Death Playoff with Gwenda Harroun. Flight 1 winners were Low Net Gwenda Harroun, Low Putts Karen Morgan. Second Flight Low Gross Pam O’Hare, Low Net Karen Hyde, Low Putts Pam O’Hare after a Scorecard Playoff with Ruby Hefner. Third Flight winners were: Low Gross Kathleen Huber
Low Net Cynthia Balzola and Low Putts Kathleen Huber. It was the first time this Club Championship Tournament was held on a Saturday and Sunday. They had great weather, lots of fun, and they celebrated with a wonderful meal, drinks and fellowship.at Ruby Hefner’s home afterwards on Sunday. The Niners weren’t that lucky with weather, and had to cancel their Pumpkin Tournament as well as their Super Niners Interclub last week. Panorama Garden Club had to cancel their planned field trip and tour at Rustic Ridge Gardens and Farm because of weather. Look out for rescheduling information.
