Get out your calendar to mark some of the following  events you want to attend. Starting on August 24, there will be a repeat of the Line Dance evening that took place in July. Come to the Clubhouse at 5 pm for a drink and at 5:30 there will be a Line Dance lesson led by Donna Brundige. Last month the group learned six dances and had a great time. The $10 fee includes a glass of wine or beer.

The next night, August 25, will be Acoustic Night with Jeremy Lamont. This takes place from 7 pm to 10 pm at the Clubhouse.  Everyone loves Karaoke!  Whether you’re singing or listening, you are having fun. Karaoke Night at Panorama Golf Club with Jeremy Lamont will be August 30, from 7 – 10 pm. September 2, will bring another Golf Cart Drive-In On the Range. The movie will be “The Greatest Snowman!” There will be hotdogs, popcorn, candy, nachos, sodas, beer, and wine available. The show will start at sunset, about 8:30 pm. There will be hotdogs, popcorn, candy, nachos, sodas, beer, and wine available. Maybe that snowman will bring some cool weather!

Any Bridge players out there?  Game Night is Tuesday from 12:30 to 7pm. They are usually wishing they knew some players to help the group grow. There are domino Mexican Train and Chickenfoot groups that play on Tuesdays from about 4pm to 7. Come earlier and eat and then play. Don’t forget Hamburger Night on Wednesdays. Buy one get one half off. It’s a good deal and the burgers are extremely delicious with quality meat.
Continue to remember to tell others our Clubhouse is open to the public.

It is not a Country Club but a Golf Club. Just as there is outside golf play the Greenbrier Restaurant and Bar are open to others and you do not have to be a resident. Everyone, be aware that the streets of Hiwon, Jackrabbit and Thunderbird are being resurfaced so be aware to drive carefully as you may be stopped and rerouted by police or workers.

All of you quilters need to put Friday and Saturday, September 15 and 16, on your calendar. A Quilt Show will be held at the First Methodist Church – Willis, 200 N. Thomason, the corner of Thomason and Martin Luther King.  This is a two day Come and Go event displaying beautiful quilting talent, as well as food trucks and other vendors.
