This past Saturday, Payton Riley made her debut at The Table at Madeley. Frank Jackson, the owner of The Table at Madeley, decided to honor Payton Riley in a unique and special way. A plaque was created and Payton Riley herself pressed her hands in concrete. The talented singer, who was recently named “Young Artist of the Year” through the Texas Country Music Association, released her latest single, “Mascara Doesn’t Lie,” during the show, and it was an instant hit. The 11th annual Montgomery County History Road Rally is set for Saturday afternoon, February 17 in collaboration with the 50th Anniversary of The Woodlands. The first 150 registered participants will receive the attached souvenir History Road Warrior button featuring The Woodlands founder, George Mitchell. Early registration by February 7th is encouraged. The registration is from noon-1:00pm with the Road Rally starting at 1:30pm. The teams consist of 2-6 participants per vehicle at $30/vehicle until event day. The event benefits the Montgomery County Historical Commission. “Wait Until Dark” is now in their second week of the three-week performances. This is a classic thriller from 1967 that starred Audrey Hepburn as the blind woman yet capable woman, terrified by a trio of men in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller’s chilling conclusion.
