What is happening in Conroe?
Our local University of St Thomas Downtown Conroe (USTMAX) Center has permanently closed its doors at 336 N. Main at the back side of the County Courthouse building. The center served as a micro-campus for the University of St. Thomas, a private Catholic university in Houston.

As described on the website, set in 1944 Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, terrified by a trio of men in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller’s chilling conclusion. The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County will host their Intimate Gathering Series with Susan Hutchison-Johnston on Saturday, January 27 at 1:00pm. Susan will share information about the “History of the NASA Space Shuttle Program”. She worked with NASA for 37 years at both the Kennedy Space Center and the Johnson Space Center. While at the Kennedy Space Center, she worked in information technology, tested experiments that launched the shuttle, and tested experiments in international space station laboratories. West Side Story is coming to the Crighton Theatre Feb 9-25th from Stage Right of Texas.
