Second week in December!
Last weekend for the Christmas Live Theatre performances in Conroe. The Owen Theatre hosts The Players Theatre Company production of “Holiday Inn”, with tickets available at OwenTheatre.com. “Christmas Belles” is performing at the Crighton Theatre weekends through December 17th hosted by Stage Right. The kids will delight in Breakfast with Santa when they can board the train around Margaritaville. Santa Claus will be arriving via the Magical Margaritaville Express to have breakfast in paradise. Soak in the décor of Christmas while indulging in holiday treats. Bring a new and unwrapped board game for our neighbors at Community Assistance Center. While at Margaritaville check out the holiday deals for incoming family at reduced rates including a resort credit.
One of my favorites is the Conroe Symphony Orchestra annual Christmas concert. This year the concert is Saturday, Dec. 16 at 2:30pm at the First Methodist Conroe church. Tickets are available at www.ConroeSymphony.org Listen to selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker ballet as well as traditional melodies of the season from the movie Polar Express, Sleigh Ride, and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. You will leave with a smile on your face!
Reminder to shop local and give to our nonprofits during the Christmas season. Look for one-of-a-kind gifts from local artists at the Conroe Art League, 127 Simonton Street (next door to The Red Brick Tavern), purchase gift cards from our local restaurants, boutiques, and season tickets to the theatres!
Don’t miss spectacular Christmas lights along with jazzy tunes from the Jazz Connection in the Uptown District of Conroe at the annual Bad Bob’s Christmas on the Lawn, Saturday, Dec. 16 at 6:00pm. Drive by any evening to 103 S. Delmont. And be amazed!
