Fall activities are happening!

The Young Texas Artists is hosting a unique event this Thursday, Oct. 19 from 5:30pm until 9:30pm with a Dinner, Concert, and Art Show featuring performances by the Young Texas Artists Competition winners at The Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course, 100 Fairway Drive, in The Woodlands. New performances this week from both our local theatres! 
The Owen Theatre will showcase “Leading Ladies” Friday, Oct 20th through Sunday, Nov. 5th about two Shakesperean actors down on their luck who will do anything to make a buck, while the Crighton Theatre will host “Clue” the iconic board game come to life in a hilarious murder mystery where a dinner guest will be charged with murder. Leah Lamp will highlight her Lamplight Ghost Tours in Montgomery with “All the Spooky Things-Ghost Stories and Spooky Tales” Saturday, October 21 at the Heritage Museum of Montgomery County starting at 1:00pm. This is a free event, but reservations will save your seat! (936) 539-6873. 

The Conroe Symphony Orchestra will perform their first concert of the 2023-2024 Season “With a Latin Flair” at First Methodist Conroe (4308 W. Davis), on Saturday, October 21 at 2:30pm. Get to the church by 2:00pm to make your own tambourine and mariachis to play at the appropriate time with the orchestra!

Worship in the Park is a Free Concert featuring the Miracle City Collective on Saturday, October 21 at Heritage Park in downtown Conroe. Attendees can enjoy a free picnic dinner from 5-6pm with a Non-Profit Fair and the concert from 6-8pm. GodBlessMoCo.com 

The Community Wide Garage Sale is Saturday, October 28th at Heritage Place Park, 500 Metcalf St. Booths are available with residents of Conroe receiving a 25% discount. Maximum of two double spaces per vendor. Food cannot be sold without a current health permit. Unsold garage sale items may be left on-site after the event and donated to local charity. Be part of the newest trend and learn Disc Golf! Sunday afternoons Lone Star Disc will share lessons on the basics of Disc Golf in an eight-week course beginning Sunday, Oct 22. Registration includes a Disc Golf starter set, games, and prizes. Register at the Westside Recreation Center or the CK Recreation Center with the City of Conroe. 

The Cozy Grape in Montgomery is hosting the 6th Annual Cozy Brunch (a sell out each year) to benefit Senior Meals with Meals on Wheels Montgomery County on Sunday, November 5 at noon.
