The 34th Annual Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival is Friday, October 13-Sunday, October 15 throughout the streets of downtown Conroe! The family-friendly event offers live music on three stages, food, arts, and crafts vendors, a professional carnival, community exhibits, and a Catfish Pageant. Seniors 65 years of age are eligible to receive Medicare. The Conroe Senior Center is hosting Medicare 101 covering the basics of Medicare and the enrollment process. Enrollment begins in October, and you can get all your questions answered without a sales pitch on Wednesday, Oct 11 at 10:30am at the Senior Center, 1202 Candy Cane Lane, Conroe. Do you enjoy cornhole? CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County is hosting a Cornament at B-52 Brewing, located at 12470 Milroy in Conroe on Sunday, October 15 with team check in at noon and “bags flying” at 1:00pm. The tournament will have first through third place prizes with live music, exclusive CASA/B-52 glassware with drink refills included, food trucks, and activities for the kids.
The Conroe Art League International 2024 is open for art entries accepting 2D and 3D art pieces for their juried competition until December 11. Chosen entries will be in the March 2024 exhibit with $5500 awarded to winners.
The Conroe Symphony Orchestra will perform their first concert of the 2023-2024 Season at a new venue, First Methodist Conroe (4308 W. Davis), on Saturday, October 21 at 2:30pm with a “Latin Flair” theme. Be ready to be amazed by the quality of the music you hear from the CSO!

The Community Wide Garage Sale is Saturday, October 28th at Heritage Place Park, 500 Metcalf St. Booths are available with residents of Conroe receiving a 25% discount.
