Yay for fall!
Since World War I, the observance of the last Sunday in September has provided a way to recognize and honor those who have lost a child while actively serving our country in the United States Armed Services on Gold Star Mother and Family Day. All are welcome to join the Gold Star Families on Sunday Sept. 24, for a Sunrise Service and ceremony outside on the “Stars on the Water” Terrace from 7 am to 8:30 am.Â
Pumpkins are coming out! The City of Conroe is hosting a Pumpkin Bob at the Conroe Waterpark Saturday, Sept 30 from noon to 4pm. Bring the kids and have some fun! The cost is $15 per person.Â

National Night Out is Tuesday, October 3, and a great time to meet your neighbors, the Conroe Police Department, Conroe Fire Department in the Kroger Parking lot at 341 South Loop 336 from 5:00pm-8:00pm with free food, music, and fun! This is a national initiative to fight crime by hosting a fun event that can connect families with local first responders.Â
It is nearly time for the Texas Renaissance Festival! Weekend 1 begins Saturday, October 7 with the “Queen’s Weekend and continues through 8 weekends of themed celebrations ending on Sunday, November 26 with a Celtic Christmas, right when the Christmas Season begins.Â
And it’s only three short weeks until the Conroe Catfish Festival- Friday, October 15-Sunday, October 17 throughout downtown Conroe!Â
