Celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month with the City of Conroe Parks and Recreation by having cool and refreshing Watermelon at Westside on Monday, July 24 from 4:00m until 6:00pm at the Westside Recreation Center. While there, explore all the activities at the newest facility located at 10245 Owen Drive.
Thursday, July 27th is
Fishing Day at Owen Park
at 6:00pm. Bring your own poles. The parks are free, but a current membership or daily guest pass is required to use the facility or pool.
Although this is the silent time between seasons for the community theatres, it is a great time to purchase season tickets for all six shows at both theatres. Season ticket holders pick their seats and which day of the 3-week running they want to see the show. If something comes up the theatres will try to accommodate as much as possible for another day. It’s a win for the theatres to plan their budgets and pay for their expenses including royalties, scripts, and costumes, and a win for the ticket holder as you get extraordinary entertainment from local talent.
Crighton Theatre
performances are available at CrightonTheatre.org. The 2023-24 season includes 9 to 5 The Musical, Clue, Christmas Belles, West Side Story, The Buddy Holly Story and Beauty and the Beast
Owen Theatre
performances season tickets at OwenTheatre.com. The 2023-24 season includes Anything Goes, Leading Ladies, Holiday Inn, Wait Until Dark, The SpongeBob Musical and Into the Woods

Stay Cool!
