From Christmas Tree lattes to frosted peppermint mocha’s, local coffee shops in the Houston area have all rolled out their holiday menus for those looking to get into a jolly mood. 

December is likely the only month of the year where most coffee lovers begin to crave eggnog, peppermint and gingerbread flavors. 

Here are six local coffee shops that have rolled out a holiday menu: 

Love Beans Coffeehouse 

Love Beans Coffeehouse in The Woodlands has a five-drink holiday menu that has a latte, a chai latte, hot chocolate and a cold brew.

The coffee shop, off Creekside Forest Drive, also offers the option to add house made gingerbread syrup to any of their house drinks.

The holiday menu includes a Peppermint White Chocolate Latte, which includes espresso, milk of choice, white chocolate and peppermint syrup. The drink can be ordered hot or cold and costs from $5 to $5.50. 

The Ginger Au Lait has drip coffee, house made ginger sweet cream, cinnamon and can only be ordered hot and costs from $4.50 to $5. 

The White Chocolate Chai has concentrated chai, with milk of choice, white chocolate and cinnamon. The drink can be ordered hot or cold and costs between $5 to $5.50.

The Peppermint Hot Chocolate has dark chocolate, with milk of choice and peppermint syrup. This drink can only be ordered hot and costs between $4 to $5. 

The Gingerbread Sweet Cream Cold Brew has house made cold brew, house made gingerbread sweet cream and an option to made it foam. The drink is only served cold and costs $4.50 to $5.

HeBrews Coffeehouse

HeBrews Coffeehouse, which has a location in The Woodlands and Magnolia, has added eight holiday-themed drinks to its menu, which also includes a “Merry & Berry” flight that comes with four holiday-themed drinks. 

Under the coffeehouse’s special menu, customers have the choice of four drinks: The peppermint mocha latte, the egg nog latte, the peppermint hot cocoa and the gingerbread latte. Each drink costs between $5.70 to $6.75. 

The coffeehouse is also offering four drinks as a flight, which includes other specialty drinks. 

The Frosted Peppermint Mocha has espresso, milk, peppermint syrup, chocolate drizzle, rimmed with chocolate drizzle, peppermint dust and whip cream. 

The Christmas Cookie has espresso, milk, almond and vanilla syrup, with cookie butter cold foam and Christmas sprinkles. 

The Salted Caramel Gingerbread Latte has espresso, milk, gingerbread syrup, salted caramel drizzle, topped with whipped cream, salted caramel drizzel and a gingerbread cookie. 

The Cherry Cordial has espresso, milk, cherry and amaretto syrup, chocolate drizzle, topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and a cherry. 

The flight costs between $17.50 to $18.50.

Bloomin’ Brews Coffee

Bloomin’ Brews Coffee in Magnolia has added a holiday menu, which includes five specialty drinks. 

The locally owned, craft coffee trailer that serves all around the Montgomery County area but operates mainly in Magnolia.

The five specialty drinks includes The Christmas Tree Latte, which is a Little Debbie Christmas Cake inspired latte, The Grinch, which is a nutty and velvet pistachio matcha latte, The Christmas Cookie, which is a rich sprinkled sugar cookie latte with notes of white mocha and cookie butter, The Santa Baby, which is a white mocha latte topped with a house made cranberry sauce cold foam, and the Not The Gumdrop Buttons, which is a spicy gingerbread inspired latte.

The Not The Gumdrop Buttons latte can also be ordered as a cold brew with marshmallow cold foam.

Gripon’s Coffee Co. 

Gripon’s Coffee Co. in Pearland has added 10 holiday-themed drinks to its menu, including seasonal flavors such as gingerbread, peppermint and cinnamon. 

The business is a drive-through coffee shop and bakery off East Broadway Street, according to its Facebook page. 

The 10 drinks in the coffee shops holiday menu include the Snowball latte, which has toasted marshmallow, white chocolate syrup and cinnamon. The Candy Cane latte has peppermint and vanilla syrup. The Grinch latte has chocolate and peppermint syrup. The Gingerbread latte has gingerbread and vanilla syrup with cinnamon. The Mrs. Claus latte has white chocolate, peppermint and vanilla syrup. The Polar Express latte has white chocolate syrup and Irish cream. The Fireside latte has vanilla and peppermint syrup with cinnamon. The Polar Bear latte has white chocolate syrup and cinnamon. The Naughty & Spice latte has white chocolate and gingerbread syrup. The Christmas on the Beach latte has white chocolate and coconut syrup and cinnamon.

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii 

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, a Hawaii-based coffee chain, has rolled out four holiday-themed drinks as well as one pastry at its Cypress location. 

The coffee shop, off of Fry Road, has over 30 locations around the U.S., with the Cypress location being the only coffee shop in Texas. 

The four drinks in the holiday menu include the Peppermint Beach Bliss latte, which has white chocolate, peppermint syrup, with macadamia nut and whipped cream, topped with crushed peppermint candy. The cost for the latte ranges from $5.20 to $6.60. The drink can also be made iced and costs between $5.95 to $6.45.

The Peppermint Hot Chocolate is a hot chocolate with whipped cream and topped with crushed peppermint candy. The cost for the drink ranges from $3.55 to $4.20. 

The Caramel Gingerbread Blondie latte has gingerbread, caramel and white chocolate syrup, with whipped cream and gingerbread sugar sprinkle. The cost for the drink ranges from $5.20 to $6.60. The drink can also be made iced and costs between $5.95 to $6.45.

The coffee shop also is offering gingerbread malasada donuts for $2.95.

PJ’s Coffee

PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans, a New Orleans-based coffee chain, has added four holiday-themed drinks to its menu at its Katy location. 

The coffee chain, off West Grand Parkway, started in 1978 and has locations all across the U.S.

The four drinks in the holiday menu include the Peppermint Bark Velvet Ice, which has sweet peppermint and white chocolate syrup, with Espresso Dolce concentrate, topped with whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate syrup and crushed peppermint candy. 

The Butter Rum latte has butter rum flavors, mixed with espresso, white chocolate syrup, milk and a drizzle of caramel. 

The Peppermint Bark latte is sweetened with Ghirardelli white chocolate and peppermint syrup, topped with whipped cream, a chocolate syrup drizzle and crushed peppermint pieces.

The Cookie Dough latte has buttery vanilla and spiced brown sugar, paired with creamy frothed milk.
