According to investigators, the incident in which Borges is charged happened on July 17.

They said he pushed a woman to the ground on a public walking trail and then exposed himself.

A nearby resident was able to provide Borges’ vehicle registration to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies, which proved to be vital when it came to identifying the suspect.

On Tuesday, Borges was arrested during a traffic stop. He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail, where he’s being held on an ICE detainer. He’s charged with attempted sexual assault, a third-degree felony. His bond was set at $100,000.

Detectives think there might be more victims and asked anyone with information to come forward and contact MCSO at 281-297-6565 and reference case #25A215386.
