RJOA BARTON & HALL TRAVEL TO WACO TEXAS FOR CONFEDERATE MARKER VISIT

The Rebel Joan Of Arc -United Daughters of the Confederacy Members, and Montgomery County Citizens, CHRISSY BARTON and KELLY HALL, travel to Waco Texas to visit this very special Texas Confederate Historical Marker! The Joseph E. Johnston Reunion Grounds was established in 1889, and the marker was relocated in
2003 to the actual site by the Limestone County Historical Commission. Read about this wonderful history of those early years after the War Between the States, and all the efforts that were made for remembrance and respect by its important citizens of that time.
If you are ever traveling to the Waco area, search out this significant marker, and learn about our Texas History in that area. You will get an exciting education if you search out Texas Historical Markers on all your car trips towards your destinations.
What a treasure Texas History has to offer us.
THANK YOU CHRISSY BARTON and KELLY HALL for sharing this gift back to our Montgomery County area, also rich in our own History!
