The Beautiful Belles of the Rebel Joan Of Arc 2721 Chapter, were again invited to be Docents at the Annual Conroe Founder’s Day, at the Homestead of Isaac Conroe.
The Rebel Belle Docents are standing on this breezy day by the Texas Historical Marker in the front yard, and displaying the Fun “Mustache that Isaac Conroe was know for”, after the “War Between the States”. After the War, Isaac Conroe decided to cover the severe scar he received from a Confederate bullet in his face, with his big flamboyant mustache, as he had been a handsome man. These fun remembrance favors were gifted by the Board of the Conroe Founder’s Day, to the entire audience of over 150 people attending this important Historical celebration, along with beautiful Printed Color Programs featuring the Portrait face of Isaac Conroe, with his dignified Mustache. TEXAS was a Confederate State and all Confederate Soldiers are still honored to this day, for their service to the cause they so believed in. We believe Isaac Conroe would be so Proud of this Tribute we all recognize him for, as Founder of Conroe!
