Founded in 1967 as The Little Theatre of Conroe, The Players Theatre Company has been a cornerstone of the Montgomery County arts scene for more than 50 years. From humble beginnings on the Conroe High School stage and a former plumbing supply store, the company helped restore the Crighton Theatre in 1979 and produced shows there for nearly three decades as The Crighton Players. In 2008, in partnership with the City of Conroe, the group became The Players Theatre Company and now calls the intimate and charming Owen Theatre home.
