Back in June, the ORWALL West 12 Majors team won the Little League Texas District 28 championship, beating all three teams which were faced in the tournament. ORWALLWest beat Tomball 9-8, ORWALLEast 14-2 and edged Tomball 9-8 in the championship game.
The district tournament took place June 14-17.
Coach Rocco Infantino coached 12 All Stars who were selected to participate in Majors tournament baseball en route to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. The team faced adversity with three players injured during practice sessions and thus the team overcame adversity to advance to the next stage of little league tournament play.Â
After the District 28 tournament, ORWALL West advanced to regional championships in Mont Belvieu, Texas. The journey stopped there, but given the resilience of the team they played their heart out.Â
The roster of ORWALLWest Team players includes Karsen Brennan, Andrew Brice, Kadin Capeles, Waite Cswaykus, Jackson Fraser, Cameron Hayes, Tony Hunter, Joseph Infantino, Grant Karim, Lucas Medina, Axel Okatan, Jack Price, and Michael Reardon.
The head coach of ORWALLÂ West is Rocco Infantio and assistants are Cotey Cswaykus, Tim Hunter and Alex Medina.
