30-year-old Milton Menjivar, Jr. was last seen at David Braun Park at Lake Nassau on Saturday, Feb. 1, the Nassau Bay Police Department said.
NASSAU BAY, Texas — Police in Nassau Bay say they’ve found a body matching the description of a man reported missing in Montgomery County.Â
The body was found Wednesday afternoon in a portion of Clear Creek known as Cow Bayou by the Nassau Bay Police Department and Nassau Bay Fire Department. They found the victim while searching for 30-year-old Milton Menjivar, Jr.Â
Hours earlier, NBPD had asked the public to be on the lookout for Menjivar, whose family had reported him missing to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.Â
Family members said they hadn’t heard from Menjivar since Thursday, January 30.Â
Menjivar was last seen around 5 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, at David Braun Park near Lake Nassau. A witness told police they briefly spoke with Menjivar whose car was found nearby. Investigators say his phone was turned off at some point while he was in the park.
NBPD said Menjivar’s family has been notified about the body found.Â
“We ask that you keep Milton Menjivar’s family in thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” NBPD said in a statement.
At this point, it’s not clear how he died.
