The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a car in connection with the Wednesday shooting death of a 25-year-old Porter man.
The car is a grey Pontiac sedan with dark-tinted windows and a red Pontiac emblem on the hood, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded the 20100 block of Bitter Root Drive for an assault with a firearm call around 2:30 p.m. Once on scene, they discovered the man in a driveway with multiple gunshot wounds, a release states.

The man was pronounced dead on scene.
The sheriff’s office has not released the name of the victim and the shooting has not been identified.
Sheriff’s Office Specialist Travis Wood said the preliminary investigation determined the altercation was between two males who knew each other.
During the fight, one man pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times.
Wood said the investigation is ongoing investigation and declined to release any further information.
