A 72-year-old Montgomery motorcyclist is dead after a crash in the Sam Houston National Forest, authorities say.Â
Around 2:45 p.m. Monday, Brian James Candee was heading north on FM 149 on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when a Nissan Murano SUV heading south was attempting to turn left into FM 1375, said Sgt. Erik Burse of the Texas Department of Public Safety.Â

The biker struck the Nissan when the SUV failed to yield the right-of-way, Burse said.Â
Candee was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe, where he was pronounced dead.Â
No charges have been filed against the driver of the Nissan.
DPS is investigating the crash.Â
