Montgomery Granddaughters Bring Home Big Wins from APHA World Show
Cousins Reese Fischer and Adalyn Stultz Earn Multiple Titles at Prestigious National Event
FORT WORTH, TX — Two cousins with deep Montgomery roots, Reese Fischer and Adalyn Stultz, recently made their hometown proud at the 2025 American Paint Horse Association (APHA) World Championship Show, held June 20–25 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Both riders delivered standout performances on a national stage, earning multiple World and Reserve Champion titles as well as NSBA (National Snaffle Bit Association) honors.
Reese Fischer and “Your One and Only” (Stella)
Reese Fischer of New Braunfels, Texas, competed in the Youth Walk Trot division aboard her horse Your One and Only, affectionately known as Stella in the barn. Reese earned:

“I love showing Stella because she always tries her best for me,” said Reese. “Winning a World Championship was a dream come true. I’m so thankful for my family and my trainer for helping me get here.”
Reese trains under the guidance of Reid Thomas Performance Horses of Boerne, Texas. She is the daughter of Brent and Lacy Fischer of New Braunfels and the granddaughter of Monte and Kim West of Montgomery.

“I’m so proud of how Trudy and I worked together this year,” said Adalyn. “Every class felt special, and I’m really thankful for my family and trainer for believing in me. This has been one of the best experiences of my life.”
Adalyn is currently leading the World Show standings for Overall High Point in both the Youth 13 & Under and Novice Youth 13 & Under categories. Final results will be announced July 5, 2025.
She trains with Peyton Williamson of Rockin’ W Performance Horses in Tomball, Texas. Adalyn is the daughter of Megan Stultz and Wade Stultz of Montgomery and the granddaughter of Monte and Kim West.
