On Thursday, April 24th, MCRW held their monthly meeting at River Plantation Golf Club, hosting Montgomery County Sheriff Wesly Doolittle and Precinct 3 County Commissioner Ritch Wheeler. Both officials shared insightful updates on their work since taking office on January 1st and discussed current events affecting our community. They also made themselves available to answer questions from attendees, fostering an engaging and informative discussion.
MCRW was honored to welcome Mrs. Tara Crenshaw to our event. With her busy schedule and commitments alongside Congressman Dan Crenshaw, it’s a rare treat to have her join us at local functions. It’s always a pleasure to see the woman behind the man-gracious, genuine, and truly lovely.
In Addition, MCRW honored their scholarship recipients during the luncheon. Julia Hunter, a senior at The Woodlands High School and Jessica Skelton, a senior at Conroe High School, were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship along with a certificate of achievement. Julia will be attending Baylor University, while Jessica will be heading to Texas A&M University this fall. Both young women also received gift baskets filled with essentials to help set them up for success in their next chapter. Please visit www.mcrepublicanwomen.org to learn more about us.
