CONROE, Texas — A martial arts instructor and substitute teacher is facing some disturbing charges.
Stephen Zarruk, 32, has been charged with indecency with a child. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says Zarruk is an instructor at Woodlands Karate and MMA. He is accused of sexually assaulting a young student during individual training time there.
The sheriff’s office said he also worked as a substitute teacher and contract PE coach for Conroe ISD.
His bail was set at $100,000. He has posted bond.
