Initial investigations showed that Greenhouse was speeding when he crashed into a 2010 Toyota Tundra traveling south, Burse said in a written statement.

The pickup was attempting to turn into O’Neal Lane when the crash happened, he said.

Greenhouse was pronounced dead on scene, while the driver in the pickup was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball with minor injuries.

DPS is investigating the crash.Â
