Magnolia man dies after being found with gunshot wound in his home, police say

A Magnolia man died Thursday night after he was found inside his home with a gunshot wound, authorities say.

Donald Hayslip, 67, was found around 7:20 p.m. at the 30900 block of Allene Drive, south of Magnolia, according to a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Hayslip was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died, the release continues. 

No other information was available. The county sheriff’s office is investigating the shooting.
